We vonden de locatie geweldig, de hot tub, braai area. De kinderen vonden het voeren van de dieren erg leuk. Ook de speel mogelijkheden en zwembad vielen in de smaak. De rust was ook erg aangenaam.

We loved our stay here. The forest yurt was right in the middle of nature and with lots of privacy, but it also felt super luxurious with the separate living area, hot tub, pizza oven, brai and other amenities. The unit was really well equipped for self catering and we purchased the pizza basket which was so well stocked with 2 pizzas, so many toppings and some chocolate & crisps. Loved the wood fired hot tub too!

This is the perfect place for a reset, to connect deeply with family or friends, or a space to "switch off" from the distractions of the day. You feel completely separate from the hustle and bustle of city life here. We will recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine getaway. We only stayed one night and had to leave earlier the next morning, so I HIGHLY recommend you book TWO nights, instead of just one. There is a refreshing dam to swim in, beautiful nature reserve walks/hikes, and hammocks to swing in and relax. It kind of has it all. My wife and I stayed here to spend quality time together, so we intentionally spent time mostly ourselves, but if you are looking for making new friendships and having a laugh, there is a communal space where you can enjoy that as well. We highly recommend this place, and will be back again if we are in the area! Don't miss the opportunity to stay here! If you are looking for a luxury outdoors experience to refocus, relax, or have fun this is the place for you!

This tent has a private entrance, sofa and electric kettle. Situated alongside a lake, Old Mac Daddy offers quirky accommodation in a variety of holiday homes and refurbished vintage trailers. Leuke originele plek om te verblijven. Mooi ingerichte caravan en een mooie kleine woonkamer met slaapbanken voor de kinderen. Ruime badkamer met goede en ruime douche. Hottub erbij als bonus. De kinderen vermaken zich erg goed. Er is een strandje, binnenspeelplaats, buitenspeelplaats etc. Ook in het restaurant is het personeel erg vriendelijk en hebben we lekker gegeten en ontbeten.

The tent features a barbecue and lake views. Fleckvieh Guest Farm bevindt zich in Suurbraak, op 33 km van Swellendam Golf Course en 31 km van NG Church Swellendam. The location is just perfect and when you drive down to the accommodation, the views are amazing. Our stay was perfect, and they upgraded our room. Our chalet was big and beautiful with views of the dam/river. The rooms are very pretty and the beds super comfortable. The indoor fireplace was a bonus. Our stay was just too short, but will be back!

The accommodation was well equipped and we did not want for anything. The host was extremely friendly and accomadating. Got the best lamb I ever tasted from the farm. Boasting a private entrance, this mobile home comes with 1 living room, 2 separate bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. It felt like our home away from home. It was very comfortable and was fully equipped. The views are just breathtaking. I did yoga and meditated on the porch early mornings surrounded by mountains, lagoon and ocean with the sound of waves crashing and birds chirping in the background. It felt heavenly. My kids loved canoeing and paddle boarding. This is our new favourite place
