Setback from the road you're away from the noise and traffic and yet still only a 5minute walk to the bustling cliff area. The dorm rooms are a good size with comfy beds, privacy curtains and individual lockers. The whole place is spotlessly clean. There's a lovely chill out area upstairs with a well appointed kitchen where you can either cook for yourself or buy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner for around RPS150. The garden is a delight to sit in and isn't really overlooked either. What makes this place complete are the brilliant team; huge thanks to Vikram and Pintu who made me feel so welcome and provided so much fun and laughter. Book it now before it's too late!

The place is very friendly, very clean, there is such attention to details, it makes you feel at home. It's a perfect backpacker's place where excellent English is spoken. And if you need a yogamat, there are some on the rooftop, where you can also practice.

If you are looking for a mix of adventure and nature, without compromising on comfort, our luxury Air conditioned Deluxe Tents are the perfect choice. You can't get closer to the jungle than this. These spacious rooms are well appointed with king size beds, private wrap around verandahs offering a breathtaking view of the hills and surroundings, smartly designed washroom facilities for multiple occupants. This room includes all meals. Everything was perfect. I decided to go here after reading all the amazing reviews about this place, vibe, hospitality and food. And it did not disappoint :) The deers are everywhere!! We opted to go for the bird watching activity and the guide was extremely well versed with all the birds. They also have freshly made jams and pickles for sale. I love the fact that this place felt so homely and they employ the local folk from the nearby village. If you're lucky, you might end up spotting elephants or bears.

The food was amazing! As well as the whole afternoon of cruising on the first day, we had a short morning cruise before our checkout which was great! Although all food is included, we had the option to stop and buy huge fresh tiger prawns which were caught in the lake, and the chef cooked those for us alongside our other curries. The best thing we’ve done in India. 10/10!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the evening atmosphere with lights and chill area was beautiful. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Tasty South Indian & North Karnataka flavors! 🌿 Avlakki and Susla were amazing, veg & non-veg thalis were filling, and the rates were very reasonable compared to others.
