The hot tub was of course a highlight of the trip, as was getting to pat and feed the highland cows (plus other farm animals). Located in Pitlochry, in a historic building, 23 km from Castle Menzies, Tomnauld Farm is a luxury tent with a garden and barbecue facilities. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The luxury tent provides mountain views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. The family who run it are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. There was beautiful views of the surrounding hills and an area for my son to run around and play soccer. The river was very tranquil down the bottom of the hill, the fairy Glen is a great idea and the games room was great! Being able to buy frozen pizzas and cook them in the tent was a great novelty for our son, and the personal outdoor fire was also lovely.

Fresh eggs from their chicken and a very lovely dog greeted us too. We felt most welcome and should have stayed longer than 2 nights.

The bed is super comfy and the scenery is amazing. Would definitely book again. Thank you so much to the hosts for creating such a homely pod. The milk and biscuits were a lovely surprise for a nice cup of tea after a long day traveling.

Our children enjoyed watching them from the bed. Even the pod was small everything fit in, everything was clean and we felt comfortable.
