Around 12 miles from Sheffield, in the heart of the Peak District, The Plough Inn in Hathersage is a 16th-century inn in Derbyshire. It has a cosy bar and restaurant and offers free parking and Wi-Fi. Charming place with kind and helpful staff. Spacious room is separated from the bar and the restaurant so there is no noise. Food for dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, and the breakfast was also fabulous. Spent just one night but would definitely come back again to explore Peak District.

The property is non-smoking and is located 12 km from Chatsworth House. This was my first ever stay in off grid accommodation and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The shower was amazing and the caravan was cosy especially when the heater had been on for a while. The location was beautiful and I would never have gotten bored of waking up to seeing the sunrise over the hills every morning. I would stay here again without thinking twice.

Amazing location, very good appliances, cooked breakfast and dinner in the Shepard’s hut and had no problems! The hot is definitely the highlight for me and my partner, it was freezing outside but the hot was hot and kept us very warm, spent over 2 hours init each night!
