New ZealandOur stay at Aera cabins was just fantastic! We were in a glass cabin which was stunning, great views, great kitchen facilities, fantastic bathroom! Loved the view, and the area around the cabins. We were woken up during the night by the Aurora thanks to the glass roof! Likely would have missed it had we been anywhere else. Nice touch was the breakfast supplied the next morning, couldn't have asked for better.

Concept is really cool, the attached cabin next to the dome tent is also really nicely setup. The dome tent was really warm and comfortable to sleep in. The people managing the property were really helpful and prompt when we needed to figure something out. Perfect location to go hunting for the lights as it’s far from the city light pollution but not so far distance-wise (we had a car and would recommend this option).
