I had the pleasure of staying at this eco-lounge camp in Haputale, and though I wasn’t able to stay at the actual campsite, the host went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. Right away, he proposed a cozy room alternative with the most breathtaking view – a truly beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. The host’s kindness and attention to detail made my stay incredibly comfortable. He arranged all my tuk-tuk rides, making it easy to explore Haputale without any hassle. He also gave me fantastic recommendations for things to see and do in the area, helping me make the most of my time there. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how he checked in on me throughout the day, ensuring I felt safe and supported. His thoughtful care made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued, adding a personal touch to my stay that I’ll always remember. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views and a host who truly cares about your experience, I highly recommend this eco-lounge camp. There’s nothing like this place! It really is like camping in the sky. Comfortable tent very cosy, plenty of privacy, great bathroom facilities, incredible food, and warm vibes! The host did everything to make sure I was comfortable. I loved the location, but it does require some scenic walking along the rail track to get there - the tuk tuk can’t take you all the way. I would recommend walking from the Ella train station along the tracks so you don’t need a tuk tuk at all - it’s only 15 min walk - and it’s safe, many locals walk along it, you will hear any incoming train for a long time before you see it. The lovely host helped me carry my bags along the track. Easy walking distance from Ella town too. A really unique must-do experience. And it’s only a 10 min walk to the 9 arch bridge!

We really enjoyed the experience, the hotel is 20min from the center of Ella, and its amazing to be a bit outside of the crowded city. Perfect for relax and disconect and enjoy also the activities of Ella. We will come again for sure. The personal like Gavan were really helpful and kind!!!

A wonderful place with the spirit of a festival. It is a little outside of Ella. The scooter ride is also fun, tho. The owner and staff are exceptionally helpful and have a lot of interesting stories to share. They even have a DJ booth where guests can play. Loved the lighting at night.

Surround very nice. It’s an eco friendly place with clay houses, trees and mountains views. Place is more suitable for Nature lovers. Birds , squirrels 🐿️ are always singing. I went there with my mum. She also very happy. Staff is very helpful & friendly. They arranged transportation to see all over the Ella area.
