Great location on the edge of the lagoon; numerous bars and restaurants a short walk away; hotel decoration was fresh and contemporary, though the building retains its early twentieth-century charm. Breakfast was great - lots of choice, all of it of a good quality. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. Chioggia is like a miniature version of Venice - canals, views of the lagoon, history, charm; but also much less busy and much less expensive. It's a great place for a quiet break by the water.

Everything was perfect. Location (vaporetto or by foot), breakfast (buffet style - scrambled and boil eggs, bacon, ham, mushrooms, fruits, sweet staff, wonderful espresso, ...), room (very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with great shower, AC), friendly staff. We would come again.

The Aqua Palace exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in, we felt pampered. All the staff (front desk, bellhop, waitress) were warm and friendly. Our room was large with high ceiling and windows, and Venetian style furnishings, that overlooked the canal. Absolutely gorgeous view and room. We felt like we were in a Venetian castle. The breakfast buffet was delicious with an array of food options. They even served Prosecco! The hotel is perfectly situated - walking distance to St Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. If we ever return to Venice, we will definitely stay at the Aqua Palace again.
