Perfect pit stop on a long ride. Very rich breakfast, big and comfortable rooms, easy parking, 24h reception, everything was taken care of in a professional fashion. This hotel exceeded our expectation and is a definite recommendation for passing by travelers. We forgot some items in the rooms and they even called and organized everything about the return for us. What a find. Villa Renée is a little oasis in the centre of Valence. The property was fantastically decorated and quiet. Cédric was extremely helpful. We will stay here again when we’re in the area.

Valence is our yearly stop on our way from Barcelona to Switzerland. We have stayed in several hotels, but this one checks all the boxes so we have stayed at Hotel de France for several years now. They are always pleasant and attentive and welcome our labrador retriever, so that's a big bonus. ... This year they had a change in management so, while a few bumps in communication at first, we left happy. Good to see the new management is keen to maintain the quality.

Hotel with excellent location very near to motorway. Closed parking lot with no extra charge. Beds very comfortable and excellent bathroom. Room had a fridge, coffee maker and kettle with tea and coffee supplied. First class for an overnight stopover.
