The property itself is modern, clean, and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a delicious variety to start each day. Friendly staff attentive, and always ready to help. If I find myself in Quito again, I will definitely choose to stay here. Highly recommended!

Drinks and coffee service can be enjoyed at the Café Gourmet and at the Exchange Bar; enjoy the Chef's suggestions hors d'oeuvres with your preference of beer or sangria. The hotel is very good. It has everything you need for a stay. The rooms are large with comfortable beds.

The 5-star Plaza Grande is on Plaza de la Independencia, Quito´s central square. It features colonial architecture with 15 luxurious suites, a wellness spa and moonlight horse-drawn carriage city tours. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional. I forgot a jacket in the wardrobe, in our room. When we returned from lunch to check out, it was amoung our things!

Located 3 km from the historic centre of Quito and near the World Trade Centre, this hotel features luxurious accommodation with a health club, free WiFi and free breakfast options starting a 2:30 for guests departing early. Mariscal Sucre International Airport is 44 km away. Great breakfasts! Highly recommend doing the included breakfast for a bit more. Rooms are comfortable, showers are great. Safe location with a lot of restaurants in very short walking distance.

The staffs - front and restaurant also- are friendly and supportive. Great location.

They all come with cable TV channels, minibar and in-room safe. The staff was extremely accommodating. I felt not only safe in the hotel and the neighborhood, but well looked after by the staff. I had a spectacular view of Cotopaxi from my room. See photo below.

I would recommend this hotel alot.

Free private parking is available and the hotel also provides car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. I came to visit for 2 nights with my friend Sally and our guide. The hospitality of Sra Lolita and her brother was fantastic. It felt like home, tucked away in these spectacular mountain surroundings. The home-cooked meals were all delicious, and so were the Pisco sours.

This 5-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The property is allergy-free and is situated 1.5 km from Sucre Theatre. A beautiful hotel which is on the edge of Old Town.it’s very stylish and has large comfortable bedrooms which are immaculate and are very quiet at night. Breakfast is wonderful and with excellent choice and is served in the central area. The highlight however was the staff who are very helpful, friendly and professional. We ate every night on the roof terrace, which was beautiful overlooking the skyline of Quito. Ponchos and heaters were a lovely addition and the food was amazing! The service was exceptional, Dino in particular made our stay memorable! He managed to anticipate all our needs and we loved every minute of our stay. A truly amazing hotel!

Attractively located in the centre of Quito, Illa Experience Hotel features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a garden. Each accommodation at the 5-star hotel has garden views, and guests can enjoy access to a terrace and to a hot tub. The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. Can't speak highly enough of this hotel. The concept of a 'boutique' hotel used to mean something - a smaller place where you would feel there was some kind of effort made to make your stay special or different. Nowadays it just gets used to mean any small hotel, but the ILLA is a true boutique hotel. They have 12 rooms in a beautifully renovated old colonial house near the historic centre of Quito (5-10 min walk). Everything about the place and your stay there has been thought about - from thoughtful little touches and gifts they leave for you outside the room, to daily 'experiences' with local artisans where you learn about and participate in Ecuadorian crafts. The staff are super attentive and helpful, the breakfast is excellent and the restaurant does very nice food (albeit on the pricey side). The rooms are extremely large (ours even had a separate 'reading room' attached to it) and well appointed. The hotel has several indoor and outdoor spaces for sitting and relaxing, and breakfast is served in a glass-walled restaurant with an incredible view of Quito & the mountains. There's a pool, though Quito can be fairly cold so it was not in use when we stayed. The location is on a small, pretty street ideally located for the historic centre without being right in it, and we found getting in, out and around super easy. At night, the whole neighbourhood is very quiet, so whether you feel that classifies as 'unsafe' depends on your approach to travel, but we walked home after dark on several occasions without feeling unsafe at all.
