The food, service, and rooms were absolutely top notch, and we would absolutely recommend this hotel!

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a shuttle service, a kids' club and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything! The most relaxing, luxurious getaway. The staff is incredible especially at the main restaurant near lobby! They went above and beyond for us when we wanted sushi and prepare it specially. The room was impeccable and the pool very relaxing.

The nights are super fun full with entertainment and the days are full with activities for everyone.

Each accommodation at the 5-star hotel has sea views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot tub. The hotel also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. The location is up the hills in Minca and is a bumpy ride to get there, but that is to be expected since you are in nature. Our room was big and spacious and we had an amazing view that was a combo of nature and the city of Santa Marta. They had amazing juices and the food was really up to standards. The tours/cleansing ceremonies that we booked through them were really nice and worth it for the money. We did the fire ceremony, ancestral healing massage and cocao tour with waterfall (lot of walking but worth it!). The staff was very friendly and the property was amazing to unwind and relax. Take note that to get to your room you do have to climb some stairs that are made of rocks but it's totally doable, just not your typical hotel, but again you are in nature and its to be expected.

Everything was new, clean and the hotel is situated in the city center so very easy to get by just by foot. The personal was so nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel to everyone. Don’t think twice :)

With a terrace, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar or a meal in the restaurant. We stayed at Cayena by Masaya after visiting Tayrona Park, and it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional, from the reception to the restaurant team. The hotel has only a few rooms, which made it feel peaceful and never crowded—we always found a great spot to lounge by the beautiful, large pool (perfect for a proper swim). There’s also a covered area with yoga equipment, and we loved starting the day with a beach-front workout. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a super comfy bed, working AC, hot water, and complimentary refillable drinking water. The restaurant was a highlight—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, and the à la carte prices were very reasonable, so we were happy to eat at the hotel. There are beds on the beach, but we mostly stayed by the pool since the ocean had big waves and a small sandy area during our visit (great for surfers, though). Overall, we had a perfect stay and would absolutely recommend Cayena for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, relaxing setting.

Located in Taganga, within 400 metres of Playa de Taganga and 5.2 km of Simon Bolivar Park, Vito Hotel Boutique Taganga provides accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Featuring a garden, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. We stayed here for about 10 days and used it as a base for diving, remote working, national parks (all dive centers are within a 10-minute walk). The town center is close (with good restaurants for such a small town), making it a great location overall. Laura (and her mom) were super attentive throughout our stay. She always made sure we were comfortable and helped us organize taxis to places like Minca and Tayrona at good prices. The breakfast was extraordinary — with quite a lot of variety. On most evenings, there’s also a chef cooking dinner on the property, and the food was also excellent. Our room was big and comfortable, with a small fold-out table that worked well for a bit of remote work. The bed was large and comfy, AC worked perfectly, and room service was good. Great value for money overall. Would definitely come back! :-)

We recently stayed at Placita Vieja Hotel, located right in the heart of Santa Marta’s Parque de los Novios, and we absolutely loved our experience. I went with my girlfriend, and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The location couldn’t be better — peaceful and quiet inside, yet just steps away from the vibrant atmosphere of the park. The hotel itself has a calm, intimate vibe that made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were truly outstanding: highly professional, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Special thanks to Miriam, who went out of her way to make sure our breakfast was exactly to our taste every morning, and to Fernando, the administrator, who is not only a great professional but also a wonderful conversationalist. If you’re visiting Santa Marta and want a place that combines perfect location, comfort, and exceptional service, Placita Vieja is an excellent choice.

La Mar de Bien offers beachfront accommodations in Buritaca. The property features an outdoor pool. Guestrooms at this holiday home are luminous and feature wide windows overlooking the garden. WiFi access is available in common areas and rooms. Buritaca River is 800 metres away. We enjoyed the excellent service, the always helpful staff and the delicious food.
