We had a wonderful stay at the Langham. This was our first trip to Shanghai and I am so glad we chose this hotel for our stay. It is perfectly located, but more than that, the hotel itself is stunning and we had a very comfortable room. Everything was spotless, and we had a wonderful surprise from hospitality staff. After a great night sleep, DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST!!!. it's fantastic with so many options. This hotel staff could not be better. A few people stood out. We wanted to say thank you to Mr Ivan and Mr Jeffery. They helped us all week, and it was a joy to speak with each morning. A very special thank you to Mr Andy! What a kind and knowledgeable gentleman. Ask for him if you need anything, he treated us like family. We will be back

He takes personal care of guests giving them some insights about the city and also the facilities. I will be back in Shanghai and will definitely be staying here.

The location was perfect, quiet neighbourhood with restaurants, small fresh fruit store and in the same time walking distance to The Bund. The most important factor was English customer service. They were not only focused on hotel services but also helped us a lot with travellers challenges in China, which was far beyond their duties. Special appreciation to Jeroen from front desk. The rooms were comfy, modern style, very clean, including bathroom. Air-conditioning was easy to control, adjusted to our preferences. The breakfasts were variable, with selection of European and Asian options, great for a active sightseeing day. Our recommendation is to choose taxi services from airport to hotel for your comfort, it is offered in a good price

Well set in Shanghai, Opartment - People's Square 远东饭店 - 人民广场 provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Featuring a bar, the hotel is close to several noted attractions, around 500 metres from Pedestrian Street of East Nanjing Rd. And around 500 metres from People's Square. The hotel offers city views, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. The Manager Ben did his best to make sure our early check-in request can be fulfilled. He and his team made us feel we were staying at home. The location is so central and it was easy to go everywhere. Loved our 2-bedroom apartment with balcony. All facilities are very fine. Even the scent smells so nice! It was such a bless to find this place to stay for our unforgettable 4 nights in Shanghai. They have a rooftop bar as well so it was easy to catch up with friends.

Received an upgrade to accommodate our needs which was very appreciated.

Each room is equipped with luxury branded mattresses, 55-inch flat screen TVs, goose down and feather quilt, coffee machines, branded stereo. Room was great. Lovely view. Great in-room amenities like espresso machine or Aromatherapy brand shampoo/conditioner. Very nice and helpful staff. I loved the bar "Le Manoir Ling" and the gentleman working there recommended a nice gin. I would also recommend taking a walk by the river on the other side of the hotel.

The hotel provides a free shuttle bus service to New International Expo Centre. Very good hotel, with good and wide rooms. Great Breakfast. It's close to SNIEC (Shanghai New International Exhibition center). The SNIEC is easily and safetly reachable on foot with 20-25 min walking. By taxi to Bund Area depending on traffic jam, but 10-20 min and around 60 CHY with official fare before dinner time (After dinner you need to negotiate the fare with Taxi driver as the do not apply standard fares).
