The resort is located on a mountainside. There was a beautiful view from every place, including our terrace. There are a lot of stairs in the area (but not too steep, and most of them have railings), so Maha Hills is a great option for adults who are looking for relaxation and tranquillity. Spacious bathroom with shower and bathtub. A large swimming pool (again with THIS view) next to the restaurant serving delicious dishes, including Balinese cuisine. There is also a SPA on site, from which you can listen to the sound of the waterfall during a massage... these are amazing moments that are impossible to describe. Even though the facility is quite large, it has a unique, friendly and even family atmosphere. Maybe the view is worth $1 000 000, but these unique experiences are created primarily by people and their approach to guests - and this is priceless. We spent 4 days at the hotel. The Maha Hills team prepared a birthday surprise for me, which was not only nice, but... touching. We stayed 3 nights in the Damai, in one of the villas with private pool. The accommodations were truly fantastic and the domain is very well maintained. When entering the lobby, the first thing you see is the open swimming pool with an amazing view, located near the bar and restaurant. After check-in we were guided to our room, an amazing villa with private pool and with full privacy garden. The room is nice, very clean, with an outdoor shower and bath. They staff cleans the room every day, and comes by multiple times a day, to open the window covers in the moring (when you're at breakfast), clean and make up bed, close the covers in the evening and prepare bed for sleep, or bring fresh fruits. Overall the staff of the Damai is so friendly and welcoming, the restaurant serves great food and breakfast. This was truly a remarkable stay and I would definitely recommend staying in the Damai if you're looking for rest and calmed. Thank you, I would really like to come back one day.

The staff was very kind and attentive to everything we needed. The hotel was clean , the food in the restaurant delicious , pool was amazing and yoga class was great. definitely great place to stay and is close to Lovina also the shuttle bus to Lovina was very helpful to go to Lovina and have a walk around town

This place is a sanctuary for relaxation. The views are stunning, the cabins are gorgeous, and the entire team exude such kindness and care that it's impossible to not feel at home. I was a bit nervous about the food not including many vegan options, and the kitchen even made me vegan bread for breakfast! I cannot recommend the spa services enough-- particularly the scrub which is a homemade concoction that will stimulate the senses and cells. I'm grateful to have discovered such a luxurious gem in Munduk and recommend it to anyone visiting Bali. Thank you for a rejuvenating stay. 🙏

Quite possibly the best overall hotel experience I've had! Beautiful hotel with amazing and caring staff. So many activities included with the stay. All the staff we met went the extra mile. The hotel seems genuinely eco friendly. There is recycling of plastic on site, solar energy etc. The hotel also seems to heavily support the local community providing jobs and activities for the local children too. Just feels a lovely atmosphere overall. We loved it and we were sad to leave.

What an amazing place!! A true exotic paradise location! Beautifully set, high in the mountains, this new built mini-resort provides all you need to experience the serenity, fantastic nature and friendly ways of local people. The bamboo cabin is so pretty, neat and comfortable - a large bed with a canopy and moskito curtains (not at all needed in February!), lovely wooden furniture, the bamboo finish and the lovely bathroom surrounded with the view of the local greenery and the mountains. Unforgettable. Eating area under a roof with 360 views of the surrounding nature, the beatutiful pool, fire place area and the vegetable garden for the needs of the resort's kitchen. The team is really nice, with a good knowledge of English and catering for any needs, including transfers, local trips and food requests. Local people are most friendly. They live modestly but are so rich through their culture and religious rituals, architecture and devotion! A real privilege to be a witness of some of it. A half day trip to the natural water slide, Sekumpul and Fiji waterfalls, cliff jump and the trek across the rice fields and the woodland - a once in a lifetime experience. Amazing views, overwhelming sense of power of nature and how local people have learned to peacefully harness it to their needs. A truly wholesome experience!
