The staff at Sanctoo are absolutely amazing. They are very respectful, have great communication skills and treat guests exceptionally well. The facilities are really good, they accomoddate various tour and transfer requests and the zoo entrance is a 2 min walk and you can enjoy it throughout your stay.

The villa we booked was absolutely stunning with a very private pool and a fantastic few into the canyon. Everyone is beyond friendly and eager to help at all times. Our booking included a turndown which I very much appreciated and the cleaning was always very well done. Breakfast was great as well. The shuttle to ubud centre is certainly needed since the location is not in close proximity to any shops or restaurants etc but that also comes with a more quiet location. Overall: Loved it! Would book again :)

Our stay at Kastara Resort was absolutely fantastic—truly a memorable experience from start to finish. Although we didn’t have the chance to try the spa (we were always out exploring!), we are confident it would have been amazing based on the quality of everything else. The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the suites with an outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely incredible. Soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views of the jungle was like a dream come true. The infinity pool was equally breathtaking—a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The cleanliness of the resort was unmatched; everything was spotless, and we’ve honestly never experienced such meticulous attention to detail in a property. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal we had at the resort was excellent, and we loved that we didn’t need to go anywhere else to enjoy high-quality dining. The live music in the evenings added such a lovely atmosphere to our dining experiences. It’s rare to find a place where everything exceeds expectations, but Kastara Resort truly deserves its 5-star rating and more. In terms of location, it couldn’t have been better. The resort is a peaceful haven away from the chaotic center of Ubud, yet still close enough to explore. It’s about a 35-minute walk to the center, which was perfect for us as we could avoid the traffic while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding jungle. It also served as the perfect base for exploring Ubud and its beautiful surroundings. Without a doubt, Kastara Resort is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The hotel is very cute, everything is well-organized. It's green, bit of a jungle vibe. The room and bathroom are spacious. The bed is comfy. The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind (5 star). The breakfast exceeded our expectations.

Everything was more than perfect. Absolutely five star new hotel. The staff was so charmful and nice with us they even made a surprise for our honeymoon. Better evan than photos, do not wonder if you should book this hotel, just book it you will never regret!
