From the moment we arrived, the calm o made us forget everything else. The tents were cozy and beautifully decorated with traditional touches that gave the whole place so much charm. The highlight for me was the sunset over the dunes — the sky painted in shades of orange and pink was just breathtaking. Dinner was delicious, full of authentic flavors, and later we sat by the fire listening to live music under a sky full of stars. It felt like time stopped for a while. Truly an unforgettable experience. ❤️

La Rose du Desert is just on the outskirts of Erfoud, in a very calm and easy to reach area. It is built just like a small resort, with a reception and restaurant area in front of a central pool. Around the pool you will find a set of small walkways leading to the rooms, all of which have a small outside area to relax in. The staff welcomed me with an awesome Moroccan tea and biscuits. Everybody has been super helpful and willing to accommodate all my requests, they provided me with a tasty dinner with great value for money, helped me book a quad excursion in the Merzouga desert (which is only a 30/40 mins drive away). Special shout-out to Otman which has simply been the perfect host and is the exact definition of the beautiful Moroccan hospitality. The room is spacious and has all the comforts you might be looking for, keeping a very traditional and characteristic architecture.

This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in, and definitely the best during my trip in Morocco! It is run by the loveliest family, who go out of their way to help you out. I was even taken up to and shown the archaeological sites nearby. Omar got up early to open the outside door so I could go on my morning run. The room was beautiful and the food exceptional (and the amount of food!) Omar's soup is divine. After four nights in the craziness of the Fez medina, it was a perfect, quiet and relaxing place to be. It is worth travelling to the region just to stay here.

Superb ambience in a great setting. Very peaceful, with two lovely hosts. The warmest bedroom we’ve had all holiday (for February!) and the food (dinner and breakfast) was excellent : fresh , home cooked, delicious.

A convenient location for exploring some of the desert areas east of Erfoud. Large, comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. The dining room coped with early breakfasts and vegetarian requests. Receptionist able to sort out problems with a booking for a trip to the desert.
