I stayed for a conference since the conference hotel was booked and I’m so glad I did. My room had a cozy fireplace and a stunning view of the bay. The whole property is charming, as are the staff. Plenty of nooks to settle into in the public areas, too, though I didn’t have time for that. This is a lovely inn, and I’ve already rebooked for next year.

We booked two nights to visit Monterey & Carmel. The photos don't do this place justice - First it looked like a small B&B and then like a motel - which it is neither - it's a great, friendly and comfortable hotel with large comfortable rooms and nice bathrooms. The breakfast is great, they have relatively cheap parking and the location is great - a few minutes walk to Cannery Row, Monterey Bay Aquarium, restaurants (we'd recommend Hulas Island Grill), and a 15 minute drive to Carmel & 17 mile drive. Would absolutely recommend this place - such great value.

View was incredible. Complimentary breakfast was convenient. Location was excellent. Walking distance to cannery row attractions and shops. Tidal coffee just around the corner with excellent coffee. Parking super easy literally underneath the rooms.

When I lost my ID, and called when already out of the area, Jenny was on it and got back to me immediately. My ID was found and returned within a couple days. Nice renovated hotel keeps the original spirit. Clean, cosy with great ocean view rooms - extra money was worth it. We enjoyed some nice time by the fireplace watching otters play :) Staff is super nice and helpful.

We loved Monterey! The place itself is nice, private parking, good space room, comfy beds. The biggest advantage - location. About 20 min to the Aquarium and 20 min to restaurants the other way. The amazing thing is that you walk to restaurant and see sea lions just chilling on the rocks..
