It is the most striking hotel I have ever seen, in fact it is part of the same rich museum of machinery and everyday history that the Koç family set up in Ankara on the site of their ancestral workshop, in the very caravanserai where the traders of the Great Silk Road stayed.
There are only a few rooms and in the evening the traveller feels like a historical film hero, surrounded by authentic, valuable and magnificent objects. It's just a fairytale.
Needless to add that the courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness and tidiness of all the rooms, the superb food in the restaurant are all above and beyond praise. I don't know how else to describe the place. It is the Ali-Baba Cave, equipped to the highest world standards of the 21st century, and at the same time a tale of Ankara's past. Living in this hotel is like being on a historical tour.

Dab Hotel Ulus has amazing staff, which was very helpful especially with translations. Rooms are spotless clean, everything is new and the bathroom is absolutely beautiful. Good breakfast with many different kinds of local and standard breakfast foods.

Location was great (attached to the Ankara railway station) and had good access to city centre.
Rooms were clean and spacious + well ventilated, well lit and the A/C was good. WiFi was decent. Really loved the interior design theme with wooden floors.
Facilities:
The gym has the latest equipment and good variety. Breakfast was simple but tasty.
Staff:
Staff were very polite and accommodating.
It was great value for money!
Anytime I visit Ankara next time, I'm staying here , period.

The hospitality offered from staff was excellent. Breakfast was good and a wide variety. All staff were very helpfull and was able to advise us of places to visit, even assisted us with reservation for travel. When we left we were also accompanied to the airport by one of the staff members I think his name is Murat.

The hotel is great, but the highlight is the uncle who works there.
The staff is very polite, helpful, and the service is excellent.
Breakfast was especially amazing—very delicious and satisfying, and the location is excellent.
I will definitely come back next time!

The room was comfortable in general. the mattress, the blanket and the pillows all were comfy enough. there was TV in the room as well. The staff was phenomenal. All of them were very kind including the foreigner men working there. overall recommended for budget travelling👍🏼
