The villa felt like home. We could have stayed a month, we were so happy there. Especially loved the pool and jacuzzi, but overall, the atmosphere was so charming and relaxing. The concierge called for a taxi when we'd been left without one. Can't wait to stay there again.

Oreliane, our host, was delightful! She met us upon our arrival and assisted us with our luggage. We were exhausted from our travels and so pleased to find that Le Jardin was exactly what was needed. It's a beautiful old castle/estate building with lovely views over Vieux Lyon. There was a very comfortable living room, adjacent sleeping quarters with a queen size bed, a modern and fully stocked kitchen, and a huge luxurious bathroom. There are plenty of restaurants within a five minute walk and Oreliane gave us several recommendations for restaurants offering modest and delicious French dining. There are are a lot of steps everywhere in Vieux Lyon which was fine with us but guests need to be able to walk up and down stairs to explore the area. One of the reasons we often choose an apartment rental is to have access to laundry either on site or nearby. Oreliane offered to do our laundry for us which was very generous of her but we declined so as to have the adventure of handling it ourselves at the local laundromat which was steps away and very well maintained. We were only there for one night but we certainly wished to have had a few nights there. Highly recommend!

Staff was kind and so helpful in making reservations and suggestions on things to do. The room was great - but if you go, request a city view room! We were disappointed by our view - and privacy thereof.

Suite Lodge features accommodations in Lyon near the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon and Lyon Perrache Train Station. There's a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.
