The staff of this centrally located hotel earned it a 10 rating, as they go out of their way to assist visitors with airport transfers, finding the way around town and booking transport to sites outside Cairo, all very important things in a city known for scammers. A cup of tea is always at the ready, and breakfast includes an Egyptian option or egg, cheese and bread with jelly. The rooms are spacious and very quiet, and it's a great place to meet other guests hanging out in the comfortable lobby having tea and discussing their plans for the day.

We stayed at Champollion guest house for a week last year, and felt at home.
We came back this year for 2 days, and enjoyed the same warm welcome and care.
We tried the new Champollion palace, on 6th floor, very nice and cosy.
For sure we will come back again !
I have a suggestion : maybe the team could propose Egyptian breakfast style as an option?

First of all, the staff was very sweet and helpful, I felt at home when I was with them.They even kept my bag for me when I came here from another city after my trip.The lower entrance of the building is a bit old and neglected, but when you enter the facility itself is new and beautiful.
