This was by far the best hotel during our trip in Ecuador and Galápagos. The staff is nice and caring. Wilmer was very welcoming and helpful, simply amazing! The breakfast is delicious!

The hotel is called Hotel Balcon del Arte. The entrance is set back from the street. I arrived late and was let in by the nightwatchman and given my room key directly. My street facing room was lovely. Large, clean and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was functional and clean. The shower was not always hot. Good wi-fi signal. Situated centrally, it was an easy walk to restaurants, shops and museums. The ladies who were on reception were friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

It is a wonderful hotel!At first sight it is clear that everything is perfect!It has a small pretty courtyard with plants and flowers and when you enter it seems that you are somewhere in the countryside!It is so nice that you don’t want to leave this place!The room is very clean with a comfortable bed, pillows and wonderful linen.You have everything you need. The breakfast is very tasty and the restaurant is very cozy.It is so nice to have a meal in such a pleasant and atmospheric place. Amazing hotel. Situated in the center of the city! Staff are so acomodating and friendly! Facilities are comfortable. Bed, pillows were so fantastic. Breakfast has no wide choice but it the same in all Equador.

the complimentary upgrade we received from a heritage room (deluxe king suite) which I found dark and poorly equipped to a modern spacious apartment with incredible views of the nearby domes was so appreciated. Staff were very kind and thoughtful. Fabulous location.
