The comfortable, friendly Hotel Orion in Vinohrady surely combines the best of a hotel and an apartment and is to be highly recommended for an outstanding stay in Prague. Well-situated in the beautiful Vinohrady neighborhood, the hotel is a few minutes walk from Namesti Miru with trams and the metro, and also close to several other tram hubs. The neighborhood is safe and pretty and has a variety of cafes, restaurants, bars and small grocery stores. The hotel offers a varied daily breakfast of eggs, meats, cheeses and pastries and a laundry service. My husband and I spent a happy month at Hotel Orion and were very well looked after. Our sunny corner room had high ceilings and tall windows, plenty of storage and the heating worked very well. It was well stocked with crockery’ cutlery, pots and pans, clothes drier and hair drier, making us feel quite at home. The apartment was cleaned efficiently and daily with frequent linen changes by the cheerful maintenance team. The reception staff were friendly and professional and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We particularly thank Ms Kate and Mr Andre for all their help. Many thanks to the manager Mr Jiri for his kindness in not only extending our stay when my husband fell sick but also thoughtfully making sure we could stay in the same apartment and not have to move. We are frequent visitors to Prague and were very impressed by the service we received in Hotel Orion. We cannot wait to return later in the year.

The room was superb, very clean and it looked like in the photos! Everything looked new, modern, and well planned for a comfortable stay. There were many things I haven't noticed often in other accommodations before which made the stay feel like at home: tea, coffee, sugar, washing machine pods, dish washing liquid, kitchen towels and sponge, trashing bags, ironing board, hairdryer, vanity sets, slippers, etc - I was pleasantly surprised and felt really great not to have to buy all these just for a couple of days. The kitchen had all types of pots and pans you might need, there was even a strainer and a cutting board - just perfect to cook your meals comfortably. We had the Attic Studio and it was very very quiet, the whole building seemed very quiet although there is a tram line nearby. The windows had blackout blinds which were very helpful for having a good night sleep. The location is about 15-20 minutes walk away from the main train station, and about 25 minutes walk away from the Old Town. There are a lot of stores nearby if you feel like clothes shopping, as well as food places and parks, as well as the view point Riegrovy Sady. I definitely recommend for any single or a couple stay!

The apartment is clean and has everything you need to prepare simple meals, an early breakfast, or a snack. The free washing machines and dryers were great! The location away from the overtouristed parts of Prague yet convenient to major sights. The front desk staff is outstanding. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and intelligent.

The owner (Mr. Dema) was one of the best people I ever did business with. There was a parking for regular size vehicles, but not my rented 7.4m long, 3.1m high motorhome. Mr. Dema helped me by driving in front of my 7.4m motorhome to guide me to the public parking. He even negotiated with the parking staff in Czech language and explained to me in English, and gave me a ride back to the apartment with his own car. The apartment had everything we needed. A dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer, an iron and ironing table, a TV, a large size fridge, an electric kettle, and a coffee machine with tea, sugar, and coffee capsules. It had two bedrooms, a living room c9nnected to the kitchen, a washer and dryer room, a shower room, and a separate toilet. The apartment was airconditioned. The building had secure access. It is located behind the national museum and short walk to the train station. The whole family enjoyed the stay. I wish I knew about earlier during my stay in Prague. Even though the city rules require filling and signing papers for all occupants, he allowed me to fill them later and leave them in the kitchen before leaving.
