It felt very luxurious to stay at Nomad Hotel. All details in the room, bathroom and in the sauna/gym room made me feel very spoiled. The soap, shampoo and lotion smelled so good that it made me smile. The location was also excellent to me. Close to my job and also just between the train station and the river. A bonus was also the breakfast that usually is a non memorable experience but this was with fresh fruit and a nice variety of healthy food. I would love to come back.

Everything. From the location of the hotel to the really really nice staff, to the modern design of the hotel. It was so easy to get from one place to another because the trams all stopped a few steps away from our hotel. We had a problem with booking.com tbh, because they cancelled our booking while I was mid flight. I opened my phone to find out that our booking had been cancelled. I had to call the hotel to ensure that our booking was still secure because really, we had no where else to stay. I was so appreciative that they held on to our booking because they too were surprised about the sudden cancellation. The staff assisted us the entire time and were so gracious and pleasant to coordinate with. From this, to the check in, to the check out..everything was perfect. I highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a pleasant stay in Basel.

The renovated apartment was modern, spotless, and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect - right by the Rhine, with beautiful views and easy access to cafes, shops, and public transport. Evening walks along the river were a highlight! A very nicely furnished, very clean and well-equipped apartment. Great host, attentive to details and very available to our requests. The tourist card was very useful to us, because we had free transport. Absolutely everything in the apartment was of high quality and well maintained. The only minus was an air conditioner, which was necessary, given that it was very hot and the smell of tobacco, which certainly cannot be attributed to the host. Unfortunately, there are also tourists who do not have elementary rules of conduct and who do not understand that smoking is NOT permitted in non-smoking apartments! However, I am convinced that Damir will solve the problem because he is a perfectionist of cleanliness and quality! I recommend this apartment with all sincerity and give it a 10 without a minus!
