The hotel location , the staff were more than helpful in fact they did everything they could to make a pleasant stay , from the reception staff, the dining room staff and the maid service was all excellent

Excellent hotel with the view of The Christ the Redeemer from the window. It is a good value for money hotel. The breakfast was also good. The bed was huge and abundant charging points at strategic locations. They stored our luggage even after check out as our flight out was late.

Loved the location although Lady Gaga concert was on same day of my arrival so chaotic to get to Leme. Lovely, bright, clean hostel - dorms are perfect and a curtain and mozzie net on each cubicle provides extra privacy. hot showers, cleaned daily. great breakfast - highly recommend it.

They gave me what felt like an upgraded room because in fact I had a two storage small apartment. Views and space was incredible with two balconies.

We loved our stay at Gerthrudes. The staff were very friendly and helpful for anything we asked. Locationwise it was great for our start in Rio to explore beautiful Santa Teresa or just chill at the pool, overlooking Rio and sugarcane mountain. Casa Geranio is a hidden gem in the center of Rio. A B side, where you can see the city from another perspective. Away from tourists and massive chaos it seems like an oasis, where monkeys come to say hello while you are having your delicious breakfast. Every detail in this place is taken care by it´s owners, Claudio and Gabriel, who are the minds behind this private, well curated and comfortable boutique hotel. We stayed in the room with the private pool and it was perfect. Really looking forward for our next stay here.
