Rooms at The Oystercatchers Haven combine old world charm decor with modern design. Each comes with a verandah or balcony, en-suite bathroom, satellite TV, tea-and-coffee making facilities and refrigerator. Oystercatchers was an amazing place to stay. It felt like stepping back in time to a Professors study. Although the furniture was antique style it wasn't dusty and old. The room was comfortable, the bed was comfortable. There were dressing gowns. The shower was powerful and hot with a view out to sea. There was a heater if we needed. The guest house was directly above the beach and there was a short path to the beach. The views when you woke up in the morning, or watching the sunset were amazing. The breakfast was tasty and generous and the staff and Ansu were very helpful. There were restaurants within walking distance. Although we did not walk after dark. We had a wonderful stay and wished we had booked longer.

Located in Darling, in a historic building, 1.1 km from Darling Golf Club, Darling Lodge Guest House is a recently renovated guest house with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 5.5 km from Tienie Versveld Reserve. This 3-star guest house offers private entrance. The housing was extremely clean. The buffet breakfast was great with the best fresh fruit. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Windtown, a resort situated in Langebaan along the West Coast, features a water sports centre providing SUP boards and kite surfing equipment rentals and lessons.

Each air-conditioned room has a pool view. It comes equipped with a TV and the private bathroom has a shower and free toiletries. The TVs come equipped with satellite limited channels and you can also use a HDMI & USB if you want to view your own programs. Proximity to the kite beach, very friendly and helpful staff, design, pool, great food. Planning to come back.

The ah! Guest House is situated in the fisherman’s village of Paternoster, 6 km from Cape Columbine Lighthouse. It features air-conditioned rooms with and free WiFi in the rooms and public areas.

Most of the rooms at the guest house are loft rooms, located upstairs. All rooms are soundproofed and artistically decorated. Each features a bathroom with toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Every room comes with a small seating area, an electric kettle and a mini-fridge. The beautiful house in the perfect location right on the beach. The hosts were very kind and hospitable and the joint breakfast with the other guests was absolutely delicious and pleasant. A beautiful stay. Thank you!

The manager was absolutely lovely throughout the stay and everything I needed was available. Looking forward to going back again.

Oystercatcher Villa is an ideal base from which to explore the West Coast and its hinterland. Spend quiet hours reading at the pool or have an espresso in the comfortable lounge. All guest rooms are facing the sea, enabling you to experience spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private veranda. Everything was great as as others have said. But I want to point out to potential future guests how perfectly orientated this property is. Because it faces north it gets the best of the sun during the day without blinding sunsets, so you really can enjoy the view all day long. Plus it is well protected from the infamous Cape southeaster wind. The proximity of a rocky outcrop provides the added visual interest of waves breaking and birds gathering. There is direct access to the lovely shoreline path with its local flora (some with nicely annotated name tags) and birdlife. Apart from the marine animals (seals, dolphins) and birds (including the distinctive African Black Oystercatcher, of course) we were delighted by an apparently semi-resident tortoise and visits by guinea fowl and a steenbok.

Paternoster Place offers self-catering accommodation in a quiet private road and just 3 minutes' walk from the beach. Centrally located, the property is within walking distance to restaurants.

The units will provide you with a patio, BBQ facilities and seating area. Most of them have kitchen facilities and a TV. This stay was fantastic. It's perfectly situated to be able to walk to the beach and down the main street to restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious, clean with everything you would need.. we really enjoyed our stay.
