Gasthaus Alte Post ligt in het historische centrum van Sighişoara, op slechts 300 meter van de klokkentoren. Het restaurant serveert lokale Transylvanische gerechten. Location is excellent, right next to the Citadel and main tourist area. Plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The property is charming, like an old inn with wooden floors. Room was very comfortable with down comforters and pillows. There was even a ductless Toshiba heater/air conditioning, which is very surprising in Europe. Mai heating done through radiators which was adequate. Bathroom showers has full closing glass doors which was nice. No slippery tiles. Small refrigerator in room. The included breakfast was more than adequate. Don’t miss fresh cider and local jam. I had dinner in the restaurant and the Spaghetti Carbonara was very good, with smoked Guanicale or pork cheek. The staff was polite but not very helpful in talking about local attractions. I think their awkwardness at their language skills must have embarrassed them. They were as helpful as expected. I was in shoulder season so it was quite empty. I like it that way. I suspect that the restaurants in the square get noisy at night.

Onlangs geopend in 2014, Hotel Tempo werd in 2014 geopend en ligt op 200 meter van de rivier de Mures en 1500 meter van het centrum van Targu Mures. Spacious, bright, clean room. Big safe parking and restaurant has a great terrace. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is also great.

Vila Silvia ligt in Sovata, op 7 km van de skipiste en op 200 meter van het Ursu-meer. A very very beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere and the perfect location. The host, Daniella was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and with a huge variety for a small hotel 🤗

I had an amazing stay at Casa Georgius Krauss in Sighișoara! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the medieval citadel, with easy access to all the main attractions. The historic charm of the property is beautifully preserved, and the rooms are both elegant and comfortable, offering a perfect blend of tradition and modern amenities. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The à la carte breakfast was delicious, and dining at their restaurant was a treat – the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. While the parking is located outside the citadel, the short walk is worth it for the unique atmosphere and authenticity of the setting. Overall, Casa Georgius Krauss offers a truly special experience for anyone visiting Sighișoara. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Pensiunea Cristina si Pavel bevindt zich in Sighişoara, op 22 km van Vestingkerk van Saschiz en 30 km van Vestingkerk van Biertan. Dit pension met 2 sterren biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin en een terras. This property is in the center of old town. It is very clean and great value. Cristina was very nice. She even allowed me to park my car in their spot for the night. I also got to try the pears in the garden.

Staff is very helpful and kind. Hassle-free parking (pre-registered license plate). Breakfast is exceptional, with local food selections. Spacious and spotless room with amazing balcony and view. Location also very good: close to the lake and to the center. We also tried the dinner (ala carte) and that was also great, good selection of wine and food.
