Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort ligt in Ribeira Grande, aan de noordkust van het eiland São Miguel. Oh, I am in love with this place: the room, surrounding area, service, food - all were perfect. We stayed in the room with the pool. It was cold to swim, obviously, but nice to look at. The view on the ocean and mountains is breathtaking. Sunrise paints your room in different colors, tiny birds play and sing on the grass in front of the house every morning. Perfect. And they prepared special tea ritual every evening for us.

Filipe the host was amazing!! So helpful and welcoming. We received an amazing welcome basket and the place was amazingly equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is amazing!! On the water but still close to everything in town. If Im back I’m definitely booking again 🙌🏻

CASA DA ILHA - Slow Living Residence & Suites ligt op een toplocatie aan zee in de stad Ponta Delgada, aan de zuidkust van het eiland São Miguel. Het strand Forno da Cal ligt op 5 minuten lopen. Very clean and cozy, caring staff, delicious breakfast.

Het 4-sterrenhotel Octant Furnas ligt op het eiland São Miguel, in Vale das Furnas, waar de grootste concentratie aan thermaal water van Europa te vinden is. Loved everything about it. I’m sorry we were there for just two nights. Next time we’ll plan a much longer stay.

Pico do Refúgio - Casas de Campo combineert een natuurlijke omgeving met geschiedenis, kunst en uitzicht op zee. Wow, what a special place Pico do Refugio is. First of all, the property is absolutely gorgeous. Anna welcomed our family and was full of recommendations and explained the history behind the Refugio. The location was excellent, out of the busy Ponta Delgada, but still close enough to easily explore all around Sao Miguel. The loft we stayed in was spacious, airy, and comfortable. Each morning, the breakfasts delivered was amazing and filling. Even though the houses were all full, it was very quiet and peaceful. The common area had great coffee and treats and interesting art and products from local artists. We didn't want to leave.

Het kleurrijke Vintage Place - Azorean Guest House ligt op het eiland São Miguel, op 5 minuten lopen van het historische centrum van Ponta Delgada. A huge surprise to find a stay even better than hoped all was perfect and staff amazing. Raul the manager was so great. We will stay again. Thanks
