Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Een fijne accommodatie. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Bedden waren comfortabel. Mooie omgeving (rivier, meer, Tongariro park, etc). We verbleven er 10 dagen en vonden het jammer om weg te gaan.

The Reef Resort Motel biedt zelfstandige accommodatie aan de rand van het Taupomeer. Het beschikt over een verwarmd buitenzwembad met zoet water en een thermaal bad met een hot tub. Ligt direct aan Lake Taupo. Compleet ingerichte comfortabele en schone kamer met fijne bedden. Zeer gastvrije eigenaren met heel hartelijk ontvangst. Ze hadden altijd belangstelling voor je. Heerlijk zwembad en hot tub.

Whakaipo Lodge bevindt zich op 38 km van Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park en biedt een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. The location was 10 minute drive from the centre of Taupo, breakfast was excellent. Angie and Garth were incredibly friendly giving us help with places to eat and all around the local area. Despite the cold weather in New Zealand for summer we had a fire in the lodge to keep us warm.

Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort is just 800 metres from Lake Taupo crater lake. It has a natural thermal spa and is only 5 minutes' drive from the Taupo town centre. Free Wi-Fi is available. Everything was well arranged. Clean facility. Includes everything for a stay.

Suncourt Hotel & Conference Centre offers spectacular views of Lake Taupo and the volcanoes of Tongariro National Park. Room had everything you need for a few day stay. Location was perfect with a quick walk to heaps of shops and restaurants. Right opposite the lake. Friendly staff. Free car parking. Free WIFI. Laundry room Available. The best thing was pulling up into the car park after a few hours of driving with our toddler, to see the trampoline and swing-set - he was entertained for hours. We will be back for sure.
