This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. All rooms have views towards the Aurlandsfjord or the surrounding mountains. Historical room was very climatic with great view towards the fiord.. Good breakfasts.

Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Guests can also enjoy free WiFi. Superb location a stone's throw from the ferry drop off point in Aurland. We were advised on how & where to get the mini bus up to the viewing point as well as helping us get to Bergen by ferry rather than ferry and bus. The attached bar / restaurant was very much needed after a long day travelling from Oslo via Flam.

Some rooms have skylights with views up to Kjelsfossen Waterfall. Everything! Everything is perfect. The scenery omg, the bedroom is so cozy and have a nice design (I got the newly renovated room). It gave off cabin in the mountain living vibe. It feels secluded and comfortable. The staff are nice and helpful. The breakfast has a very nice varieties and taste good. I'm in love with Norway and its nature.

All guest rooms at Visnes Hotel Stryn have traditional furnishings. Each room has a seating area and a private bathroom with shower. We stayed in a self-catering cottage next to the hotel . The cottage was well equipped, clean, and there was lots of space. We have a 3 week trip, and sometimes you want to eat your own choice of food. There was a supermarket nearby what was really nice.

At the head of the famous Flåm Railway in Myrdal, this hotel is only accessible by train and sits high above Aurlandsfjord. It is not located very close to Myrdal station, it's located 1,5 km from Myrdal. It's not possible to walk to the hotel wintertime due to the snow conditions. We recommend to take the train one stop down from Myrdal to Vatnahalsen station. Important to check the timetable for the trains. It takes 30 minutes to walk summertime. It's NOT possble to drive by car to Vatnahalsen hotel. Beautiful setting , beautiful old hotel with nice staff. The breakfast was above and beyond.
