Beautiful hotel, very clean, close proximity to everything, we never took any taxis and just walked to town every evening. Good breakfast. Friendly staff, quick response to special requests. The only downside was the bar and very limited selection of drinks.

I think they fit more into the category of a very good inn than a hotel, but that wasn't a problem. The location is one of the strong points, right on the beachfront and very close to downtown Holbox. The beach in front of the hotel is clean, free of rocks and seaweed, so you can enjoy the sea right in front of the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, although a small investment in some amenities could improve the experience inside. We stayed in the apartment, but there are also bungalows. The hotel has two swimming pools: one for adults only, in front of the beach and with a bar, and one at the back of the property, which is for families. We didn't use the adult pool with the bar, only the children's pool. The only downside is that there are few chairs and loungers. And if you stay in a bungalow near the family pool, you'll hear children playing all day. Breakfast is a huge plus; you can choose from a variety of dishes, from Mexican favorites to more traditional options like eggs and fruit. The portions are generous, so if you're traveling with your family, you can mix and match and everyone can have a little bit of everything. Tahamara, the staff member, was very attentive.

Villas Caracol is een accommodatie met 4 sterren tegenover het strand in Holbox met heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin en een privéstrand. Deze accommodatie heeft roomservice en een terras. Excellent hotel. We stayed for 5 days for our honeymoon and were properly pampered. Amazing freshly cooked breakfasts on a balcony overlooking the beach, cocktails in the swim up bar (all made with fresh fruit and homemade syrups), and incredibly comfortable beds - the pillows are better than ours at home! The beach is far cleaner than some of the other hotels on the ideal, with very little seaweed. It's also in a great location, halfway between the town and the walk to Punta Mosquito, so it's really quiet. All the staff are fantastic, so kind and friendly and all speak wonderful English. The walk to town is about 15 minutes down the beach, or a taxi is about 5 minutes (150 pesos). We had a really excellent time.

Set on tropical Isla Mujeres island, this boutique hotel offers swimming pools, massage service and direct access to the Caribbean Sea. Some suites have a private balcony with sea views. Staff, accommodations and all were fantastic. The dogs and cat on property where a calming delight along with a friendly atmosphere. Presidential suite had everything I could have asked for.

Casa Takywara is een accommodatie met 4 sterren tegenover het strand in Holbox met heeft een tuin, een privéstrand en een terras. Very quiet location far enough away from town to be peaceful but close enough to walk into town for the evening

Dit door een familie beheerde hotel ligt naast het strand op het prachtige Holbox Island, vlak bij het Mexicaanse schiereiland Yucatan. Prachtig hotel , elk hoekje brengt je in extase. De details , de kleuren, de materialen , … een streling voor het oog. Het zwembad en het restaurant , gelegen op het strand , zijn idyllisch en het eten is overheerlijk . De strandbedden zijn breed en het zicht paradijselijk. Er werden ook activiteiten georganiseerd, zoals schilderen op het strand , yoga , … gratis voor hotelgasten en ook dit was super.

Dit afgelegen pension ligt buiten het dorp Tulum, op slechts een korte taxirit van het strand. De accommodatie wordt omgeven door tropische tuinen. a real gem of a place beautiful clean pool..breakfast was good but a little too much the same each day..the owner and staff very friendly and helpful..this place is like home with dogs cats bees and chickens..the best part for me was there was ample hot water for my must have showers

Dit hotel in hacienda-stijl ligt aan de Fifth Avenue in Playa del Carmen, op een steenworp afstand van het strand. Het hotel biedt gratis WiFi in elke kamer. Vlak bij het busstation (ADO). Ondanks dat het aan de V staat, toch heel stil in mijn kamer. Twee keer dubbel glas. Mooi gebouw met een grote tuin. Zonder dat het vermeld stond, ontbijt in de tuin.
