Sala Boutique Hotel ligt in Malé, op minder dan 1 km van Artificial Beach en heeft een terras, een restaurant en uitzicht op de stad. Will definitely stay here again when we are traveling to the Maldives! Rose and Thomas and their staff took care of everything for us! The Thai restaurant is excellent! We ate there 5 times during our 2 stays. Rooms are large and clean, beds are comfy and A/C works well. Airport transport was seamless!

Sun Siyam Vilu reef offers a relaxing beachside experience with its spacious villas, an outdoor pool and an on-site diving centre. A gym and 2 restaurants are also available. Wij hadden na ene lange vlucht via Dubai daar onze eerste ervaring op de Malediven. Het begon met het ontvangst in de luxe lounge van Sun Siyam Resorts op de watervliegtuig terminal. Je kreeg een 10 min nekmassage aangeboden en mocht van het buffet en alle faciliteiten gebruik maken. Met een wachttijd van ca 45 min zijn wij al in het vliegtuig gestapt. Wat een belevenis om over de prachtige atolen met turquase en blauen kleuren overheen te vliegen. Na de landing stap je in een speedboot die met 2 minute varen naar dit kleinschige en pitoreske eiland brengt. Daar worden wij door 15 man vrouw personeel en met muziek ontvangen. Je host die voor jou alle dagen klaarstaat regeld de incheck en je wordt, in ons geval, naar de watervilla begleid. Absolute privacy en een waanzinnige uitzicht op het rif heb je vanuit alle punten op het eiland. Kwalitatief goede keuken met keuze van asiatisch tot mediterraan. Onze host, Silam, heeft alle excursies en de doorreis naar het volgend atol geregeld. Drie restaurants om te eten, ontbijt met een fantastische uitzicht aan zee. h78 is an award-winning hotel situated just a stone's throw away from the turquoise blue sea and white sandy beaches of Maldives. I am very pleased with our experience. Our arrival was well organised by the hotel. We were collected upon arrival at the speed boat terminal and quickly transferred to the hotel. All the staff we met were kind and professional and showed a genuine interest to please their guests. The facilities of the hotel are very clean and well maintained. We had our lunch in their indoor restaurant, "The catch," and our dinner in the rooftop restaurant with fantastic views. Again, staff and food were amazing. On the day we checked out, we were offered to store our laguages at the hotel and the staff organised our transport to the airport late in the evening.

Hotel Ocean Grand ligt op slechts 10 minuten rijden van de internationale luchthaven van Malé, biedt gezellige en comfortabele accommodaties en heeft een 24-uursreceptie die altijd voor u klaar staat.... We left at 6 am for our airplane transfer to another island, but the staff packed us a to go bag with sandwiches, sweets and fruits. Everything was perfect!

We returned to Gangehi Island Resort after spending our honeymoon here ten years ago — and honestly, it felt like coming home. Very little has changed, which we mean as a huge compliment. The same peaceful atmosphere, the same warm smiles, the same effortless kindness from everyone on the island. The resort still keeps its original Maldivian charm — natural, simple, and beautifully laid-back. The tropical vegetation is lush, and the sea is that unreal shade of blue with amazing coral just off the beach. We spotted reef sharks, rays, and even sea turtles while snorkeling. The weather was a bit mixed during our stay, but that’s part of island life — and the staff made up for it in every way. Giorgio, the General Manager, surprised us with a complimentary upgrade from half board to full board — such a generous touch, thank you! The restaurant buffet is uncomplicated but always delicious, mostly fish-based, freshly prepared and served with genuine warmth. The dessert corner deserves a special mention — fresh tropical fruits and homemade ice cream every day. The spa offers excellent massages, and our excursion (even with rough sea) was great fun with beautiful snorkeling spots. The romantic dinner at sunset, with our own waiter and chef, was truly unforgettable — especially the aperitivo at the overwater restaurant. In short, Gangehi remains an authentic Maldivian gem — friendly, relaxed, and made for pure relaxation. We loved every minute and will surely be back again.
