The Edo Sakura is geopend in juni 2013, en beschikt over accommodatie in een Japans herenhuis in Machiya-stijl op 5 minuten wandelen van metrostation Iriya en op 10 minuten wandelen van treinstation... So unique and pretty. Staff very kind on arrival.

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. Great location, very nice breakfast, comfy beds and amazing service.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. That has been an authentic experience! Staying in ryokan was amazing - room with tatami floor and futon was exactly what we needed to compliment our stay in Japan. The owner and staff were great and helpful. The bath on the top floor has very good facilities and unmatched view. We will definitely be back

Het Shiba Park Hotel ligt op slechts 2 minuten wandelen van het metrostation Onarimon en op 4 minuten wandelen van het metrostation Daimon. Very friendly staff, fantastic food, amazing hotel

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. Prima hotel direct naast het metrostation, waarvandaan je met 2 stops in Asakusa staat. Uitgebreid ontbijt maar medium kwaliteit. Kamer was relatief groot voor Tokyo begrippen.

Hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Honten is geopend in augustus 2014 na een grondige renovatie en biedt al meer dan een eeuw oprechte gastvrijheid. Zeer ruime kamer, luxe en fijne plek om te verblijven. Wij gaan voortaan alleen nog naar dit hotel wanneer we in Tokyo verblijven!

Set within a historic Japanese garden, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo offers spacious rooms with garden or city views and free Wi-Fi. Uitzonderlijk mooi gelegen aan een eigen, historische tuin die ‘‘s avonds verlicht is en twee keer per uur ronde vijver een nevel laat zien. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, steekt boven de tot al grote Japanse gastvrijheid uit.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, heel attent en meedenkend. Kamer schoon en ruim. Gemeenschappelijke ruimte (spelletjes, snacks) en bad waren echt fantastisch. Locatie is middenin toeristisch Asakusa, maar dat beviel juist doordat je 's morgens vroeg en 's avonds laat (voor en na de drukte) de tempel en buurt kon bezoeken. Directe lijn naar Narita Airport was ook super. Ik kom heel graag nog eens terug!

APA Hotel Sugamo Ekimae in Tokio ligt op slechts 1 minuut wandelen van Exit 4 van het JR-station Sugamo. Well-equipped and clean apartment in a quieter, but well-connected neighborhood. The staff was kind and helpful; we had an absolutely pleasant stay. The hotel has an onsen on the top floor, which can be used by the hotel guest. I would totally stay here again, 10/10!

Hotel Risveglio Akasaka is geopend sinds december 2015 en ligt op slechts 2 minuten wandelen van het station Akasaka Mitsuke op de Marunouchi-lijn. The room is well designed although it has really tight space. They also provided plenty of supplements which is really helpful. In general, I would say it is very good experience.
