Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. We went as a group and we loved the ryokan. It was very spacious, everything was very clean, and it was conveniently located near the bus station, the train station, and the city center where most of the shopping takes place. The rooms were the most spacious we stayed in throughout Japan, and the staff were all very kind. I would definitely stay here again.

Het Sumiyoshi Ryokan ligt op slechts 1 minuut lopen van de populaire Miyagawa-ochtendmarkt midden in Takayama en biedt huiselijke accommodatie in Japanse stijl in een historisch herenhuis. Super Ryokan! Wij wilden tijdens onze vakantie één keer in een ryokan verblijven en we zijn blij dat we voor Sumiyoshi hebben gekozen. Het was meer dan we gehoopt hadden. Ontzettend aardige mensen, knusse kamer, goede service, en op een top locatie in Takayama, dicht bij het (oude) centrum. Wij hadden inclusief 2 keer ontbijt en 2 keer diner en dat was een prachtige ervaring. Het was ontzettend lekker, mooi en alle smaken kwamen voorbij. Er was daarnaast een heerlijk bad waar we samen in mochten. Heel welkom na een dag wandelen in de sneeuw! Als je een keer in een ryokan wil slapen is Sumiyoshi Ryokan echt een aanrader!!

Located in the centre of Takayama Historic District, Ryokan Tanabe 旅館田邊 is one of the most historical ryokans in the city. It features Japanese-style rooms and free WiFi in all areas. This was a true authentic ryokan experience. Lovely staff, perfect location and delicious dinner two nights. We slept well on double futons and enjoyed the Onsen ( sitting outside in a warm tub while it was raining was so relaxing!) We will come again if we return to Takayama!

Situated at the heart of historic Takayama Old Town and just steps away from Takayama Jinya Morning Market, the traditional Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan offers personalised hospitality, hot spring baths... Excellent service at the center of the city. I forgot sole earbuds in my room and they helped me review of i left them there

Het Chaya Hotel ligt op slechts 40 meter van Magome-Juku, een gerestaureerd poststadje uit het Edo-tijdperk. Het biedt eenvoudige traditionele kamers met futonbedden en tatami-matten op de vloer. Eten en heel vriendelijk personeel! Niets was te veel!

Hida Takayama Hodakaso Yamano Iori is just a 3-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Old Town and Takayama Jinya and Miyagawa Morning Market. Fantastisch verblijf in een authentieke ryjokan. Zou deze plek iedereen aanraden. Personeel is heel vriendelijk, kamers zijn schoon en ruim. Het is er stil en de onsen is puur genieten!

Takayama Ouan werd in 2014 bekroond met het TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, en biedt een traditionele Japanse inrichting en tatami (matten van geweven stro) in alle ruimtes. Dicht bij het station. Goed ontbijt. Bagageopslag voor en na het in/uitchecken

Dit hotel ligt op een ideale locatie op slechts 2 minuten lopen van treinstation Takayama en busstation Shirakawa-go. Het heeft een natuurlijke warmwaterbron waarin u kunt ontspannen. Het was centraal vlak bij bus en trein

Boasting open-air hot spring baths looking over the city and heartfelt hospitality, Honjin Hiranoya Annex is ideally located just steps away from popular Takayama Jinya building and its morning... Everything, hospitality, location, room, onsen, massages. It was great experience and I cannot recommend this even.
