The Waters Country House ligt in Newtown, op 5 minuten rijden van Ballyvaughan en Galway Bay. This property is the most beautiful, majestic space with breathtaking architecture. It is nestled into a hill with views of The Burren and the sound of flowing water is around every corner. There are several inviting common areas complete with fireplaces and the feeling of contemplation and peace. We topped off our eve with a whiskey at the “help yourself” bar. The next morning we visited the Ailwee Caves (a must see) and the 16th century tower house called Newtown Castle which is part of Burren College of Art - there was true student talent. Both places are a short walk or drive from The Waters Country House. This is a one of a kind B & B NOT to be missed and Wolfgang and Maria are the most gracious proprietors!

The Cliffs of Moher Hotel is a contemporary boutique hotel situated in the fishing village of Liscannor, Co. Stay here... nevermind how close it was to the cliffs of Moher (10 min). This hotel is amazing. It was like staying in a museum with every book on Ireland and county Clare displayed and available to read next to a nice fire on the most comfortable chairs i have ever sat in. The staff was great. Very attentive. You can't beat the location. I will be back.

Excellent location walking distance to Pubs and restaurants in Doolin, as as the ferry to Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher and the Doolin Caves . Amazing view of the cliff from our room! Easy to find, they were very flexible with our checkin when our flights were delayed and answered immediatley making this part of our delay stress free and easy to manage. Beds were comfortable, room was large and property is pristinely well kept, clean and lots of free parking at the property.

Doolin View B&B ligt op 10 minuten lopen van de traditionele Ierse pubs en restaurants en en biedt uitzicht over het dorp Doolin en richting de Klippen van Moher. The decor was so comfortable and homey. The host was gracious and accommodating. The views were excellent and the breakfast was a treat. Wonderful!

The Nest ligt op slechts 1,5 km van het centrum van het dorp Doolin en biedt uitzicht op de zonsondergang, de Kliffen van Moher en de Aran-eilanden. The nest was charming and cozy with ‘tiny house’ vibes. A bit off the beaten path without a car, but still just a peaceful 20 minute walk into town on quiet country roads.
