Our room and en suite bathroom were very clean and comfortable, but the most notable feature here was the full living room/breakfast room and the extensive help yourself breakfast complete with bakery bread and French press. Paul, our host, was on-site and extremely accomodating and helpful.

Dit elegante landelijke hotel ligt hoog boven het dorp Charlestown of Aberlour en biedt uitzicht over de rivier de Spey. The Dowans Hotel is een ideale uitvalsbasis om te gaan vissen of jagen. We had stayed in this hotel 5 years previously and we were so happy to return. Hotel was just as beautiful as we remembered, staff as lovely and the food just as wonderful. Can not recommend enough!

Hotel was nice as expected, but it was the staff that made the experience, was met with Cameron on my first night who couldn't have been more helpful. Spoke with Lindsey the next day and her personality made me not want to leave reception, she also helped me out with some milk for my travel mugs for the next day. Just all round great vibes.
