Also, unlike some places in Oban, they don't lock you out after a certain time at night, so you can come and go as you please. My room was beautifully decorated and well presented, very clean.

MacKays is a high-quality, 4-star guest house, which is exclusively for adults. The award-winning property stands out on Oban's beautiful seafront, with uninterrupted views of the busy harbour. There are a lot of very thoughtful details that make it so special. Like the binoculars on the window ledge, or the decanter with sherry, and tunnocks tea cakes. The room is beautiful and huge, and the view is stunning. We loved sitting in the armchairs and looking out over the bay. We totally recommend staying here if you have the chance. It's a short walk round the bay, which is also very scenic.

De mooie Struan House B&B ligt aan de rustige havenkant van Tarbert en heeft 4 sterren van Visit Scotland. Struan House biedt gratis WiFi en een prachtig uitzicht over het water richting de heuvels. Breakfast was incredible, the best of the trip. House-baked pastries, breakfast made to order. They send you out the door with extra croissants, etc. Staff incredibly friendly. Rooms are flawless. Beds are comfy. Location is spectacular.
