Hotel Embarcadero is set in a former Basque mansion in Las Arenas, in the heart of the coastal town of Getxo. There is easy transport to central Bilbao via Gobela and Areeta Metro Stations. The room had the best see view I could imagine for this trip. The room was very spacious and very well designed. Everything was very clean and staff was very friendly with a lot of can do attitude

Our host, Miriam, was exceptional. Great information on the area with wonderful recommendations. On our day of departure, a Monday, the restaurants in town were closed. She went and made us coffee and breakfast.
