Situated right in the heart of Avilés' old town, Hotel Palacio de Aviles Affiliated by Melia is a tastefully converted, 17th-century palace. Featuring free Wi-Fi, it is located in Plaza de España. This hotel is outstanding value on a range of levels, location, ambience, luxury, comfort etc etc.. the breakfast display was where I embarrassed myself by taking a load of photos to show friends. The selection just left me speechless where does one get a wheel of cheese???

Dit designhotel ligt op een fantastische plek aan de prachtige noordkust in de charmante, vredige badplaats Ribadesella en heeft uitzicht over het strand en de zee. Superb beachside location, very easy to find. On street parking can be a problem during busy times, so I recommend booking a space in their excellent on site underground carpark. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms exceptionally clean and spacious. The beds were super comfy with plenty of pillows. The restaurant was excellent value serving high quality Asturian dishes, with a good selection of wines to suit most tastes and pockets. Breakfast was a buffet self service, but with a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries etc. If I had only one small criticism it would be that no hot option was available, even poached or fried eggs would have been welcome.

Casa Peleyón ligt in Castropol en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The old house was renovated honouring the authentic style. Old and New is in perfect harmony. Picturesque and very cosy. Or room was a big one with a pleasant bathroom and balcony. The hostess was very caring and directed us to the best restaurant nearby to have dinner. Walk to the harbour was soothing and the view to the bay during the Sunset like in a movie. We had also the best breakfast during our trip in Spain. The food was fresh, tasty - local cheeses, hams, cakes, fresh orange juice, croissants, coffee. Recommend very much if you want to experience local culture outside of big city. And also enjoy quiet surrounding and Nature.

Hotel Rural Playa de Aguilar ligt in Muros de Nalón, op 1 km van het strand Playa de Aguilar. Dit charmante hotel is gevestigd in een koloniaal huis en wordt omgeven door tuinen. The host was amazing, very helpful and offered me all the information about the area. Moreover, the restaurant was exceptional do highly recommend giving it a try.

Hotel Torre De Villademoros is een karakteristiek 18e-eeuws landhuis bij de middeleeuwse Villademoros-toren, in het beschermde landschap van Entrecabos. Ideal location, welcoming and comfortable house and bedroom, really good breakfast and dinner, attentive and friendly staff. I’ll surely be back!
