Well located in Quito to get to many other spots - I would highly recommend a visit to Quito Vivarium and The Botanical gardens.

Set in a modernist colonial mansion, Hotel Boutique Vieja Cuba offers accommodation in one Quito’s finest commercial areas. I wish I had known about this place before... I travel often to Ecuador for work, I was thinking to change my routine a bit ..so I decided to stay at this place (great option). The staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast was very complete and delicious, the hotel is close to everything...this will definitely be my destination the next time I return.
