This was the second time we stayed at UpperHouse. Location is perfect (just a few steps away from the city centre and near the tennis courts) and the breakfast was so good. Surrounded by the Zavoi Park, 300 metres from the centre of Ramnicu Valcea, Grand Hotel Sofianu hosts an art museum with works of 500 representative Romanian plastic artists. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was excellent. We were given a very spacious and clean room with a beautiful view of the local park. It’s been an absolute pleasure to see lots of art work inside and out of the room.
