We really enjoyed our stay here! The reception staff and concierge were very friendly and professional – the concierge even arranged a great trip to the Great Wall with an English-speaking driver, which made everything so easy. The hotel offers beautiful views from the higher floors, a nice pool and spa, and even a robot that delivers items to your room – our kids absolutely loved that! Best of all, the hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, so when it rained or got too hot outside, we had food, shops, and entertainment literally inside the hotel. A wonderful and convenient place to stay!

Het 北京什刹海皮影文化主题酒店 is een verborgen juweeltje in het historische Hutong-gebied in het centrum van Peking en heeft een thema gebaseerd op schaduwkunst. We absolutely loved our stay!! This place is really amazing, the rooms are very cosy and clean, the staff is wonderful and very friendly. Special thanks to Jerry, Tom and Julie for being super helpful throughout our stay. Most importantly, it’s an absolutely beautiful courtyard, and it offers shadow puppet art performances three times a week, which we attended three times. We’re so glad we chose to stay here, and we’ll make sure to be back next time we’re in Beijing.

Heerlijk divers ontbijt in restaurant Toast en er is een bakkerij met lekkere diverse broodjes, The Bake Shop. Goede locatie, het hotel ligt in de hutong. Erg gezellig. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

We were so impressed by how gracious and helpful all the staff were. They treated us like family! We are American and speak very little Mandarin. But the staff responded immediately to messages in English, arranged a car from the train station, took us to and from the Great Wall, and even let us stay later in our room so we could freshen up before we left for Beijing. We will be back!
