Het Piccolo Hotel ligt op een rustige locatie, op 8 minuten lopen van het treinstation van Locarno en het centrum van de stad. This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Dit 4-sterrenhotel ligt direct aan de oever van het Meer van Lugano en wordt beheerd door een familie. Best hotel ever!! The lake views, the staff, the spacious room, the balcony, the restaurant (amazing Italian food with unbelievably friendly and professional waiters), the gym (again with lake views), the pool (right on the lake), the direct deck to the lake. There was a problem with the vent (smell from the kitchen vent reached the room). I told the front desk and immediately got another room - with an even better view. Such a combination of friendliness and high-end service. I want to bring all my family and friends to enjoy this hotel, and will definitely be back.

Situated on the lake promenade near the traffic-free centre of Lugano, Hotel Walter Au Lac offers you rooms with superb lake views. WiFi is free of charge. All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. Location is great in the central, 10 minutes walk from the train station. The view from the windows is amazing at the lakeside. Staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast place has a nice atmosphere and they offer several varieties for breakfast in good quality.
