La Fleur de Lys is housed in a 350 year-old building right in the centre of the medieval town of Gruyère, 400 metres from Gruyère Castle, the Giger Museum and the Tibet Museum. It offers fine cuisine and free Wi-Fi. Great room, carved wooden bed and furniture, location was incredible just a walk from the Giger museum and bar right in the old town centre. Breakfast was good selections of meat fruit cheese bread and yogurts and the usual. Use of coffee machine in a beautiful lounge room with a log fire in the evenings in November. The staff were particularly helpful and made you feel very welcome.

We loved this property! Clean, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and lovely owner, so close to the castle! Bus from railway station to the old town is a short distance, runs frequently and waits at the station. Beautiful views of a gorgeous area.

Everything was amazing...from our greeting at reception to check-out...the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was lovely - comfortable and clean with a stunning view of the mountains and the castle :) Wellness Facilities were excellent and breakfast was tasty with an amazing variety. The hotel is in a great location with only a few minutes walk to the beautiful little village of Gruyeres. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Brand new hotel with delightful furnishings, very stylish and extremely comfortable, lovely colour tones in the rooms and bar. Great bed and bedding, big shower, a novelty in Europe often. The welcome we received from Marc was the best we’ve ever received, he was so warm and friendly, and continued to be as we saw him later. He is a true credit to the hotel. Close to a supermarket and restaurants, very convenient.

The hotel is really nice and in the best location. The apartment style room was renovated, well designed and very clean. The breakfast was absolutely amazing.
