Friendly and helpful atmosphere

The hotel's atmosphere is magnificent!!! The scent of lemon coming from the incredible garden, the restaurant with DELICIOUS dishes prepared with the utmost care, the extremely friendly and polite staff, the Wi-Fi signal, the comfort of the bed, the temperature, the shower, the careful lighting, the spectacular and comfortable bed linen, in every little detail EVERYTHING was WONDERFUL!!! I intend to return to Pompeii because of the experience I had at the hotel. I traveled with my 12-year-old son.

Located right in front of the beach, this hotel allows for a private and beautiful seaside experience. We could enjoy the sea directly and also comfortably use the swimming pool, which was very well-maintained. The sound of the ocean from our room was absolutely fantastic. After being disappointed with breakfasts at other Italian hotels, the breakfast here was astonishingly good, providing a delicious start to our day. The staff were all friendly, and even those who did not speak English well did their best to help us, which was very touching and helpful to us. A particularly memorable moment was when we first entered our room and found a chilled bottle of sparkling wine, prepared in recognition of our honeymoon. We made such wonderful memories at this place and frequently share stories and photos of our Italian honeymoon with friends. Everything was perfect, and it was an incredibly satisfying experience.

First of all, the pictures do not reflect the beauty of the hotel and the garden. The staff did everything to make us comfortable and pleasant, The service is outstanding. The breakfast is served on the roof, simply magical and also delicious and fresh. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, it is a chef's dinner, expensive prices but very special and delicious. The pool is quite big and clean. The garden area of ​​the hotel is huge, amazingly beautiful and well-kept. There is a snack bar that serves lunch - a varied menu. iThere is free parking at the hotel. The access roads to the hotel are comfortable and friendly even for traveling at night. Half an hour from Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento.

The Grand Hotel Sonrisa is the most luxurious, flamboyant and entertaining hotels that we have ever stayed in. We kept thinking that we were in Las Vegas or Disneyland. Our suite was large and comfortable, and the outlook was spectacular. The breakfast was outstanding, and the service was friendly and efficient. The parking is secure and provides easy access for luggage. The Grand Hotel Sonrisa is a magical wonderland, and we would recommend this to anyone.

Outstanding staff!! Beautiful location, central, perfect for what we were looking for. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of the reception and bar staff. I'll elaborate later in this review. Castellammare di Stabia is less of a touristy area, something we prefer. It felt like real Italy. The surrounding area isn't 5 star however the hotel is in my opinion. I could have easily spent a week here no problem! All of the facilities are first class providing a wonderful stay. Wish I had longer there. The room and bathroom were huge ! Comfortable beds, beautiful view on the bay. Stunning hotel overll. The beach isn't the big attraction there, so don't have big expectations. The main promenade is right there and is a fun area to sit and people watch. I loved watching the families out and about on a late Sunday evening. My dad and I spent longer at Pompeii than we intended (this was our checkout day). The hotel allowed us to store our luggage for the day in a safe area behind the desk. (a separate room). We were too late arriving back to take the SITA bus to Praiano, so they made phone calls for us to arrange a taxi, the same one we used to get there (Travelex). We needed to stay another couple hours until our driver could come. The hotel staff made us feel safe and welcome and didn't rush us out the door. They kept our luggage while we went out for dinner. We also enjoyed a glass of wine in the lounge area overlooking the beach. We ended up leaving at 7:30 pm. I think the guy's name was Luigi? Anyways, bravo to all of you who worked that evening! I hope to visit again.
