This was a lovely hotel. I'm a bit of a clean freak and this met my usually unreasonably high hygiene standards. I highly recommend this hotel! The staff were really friendly the gentleman behind the reception desk was very welcoming on my arrival. I stumbled on this hotel by accident. I was driving to Milan, and I became too tired to continue driving. I chose this hotel purely based on the location of where I was - it was a great find!

The property has design and character. The view is beautiful. There is an authentic cellar for balsamic vinegar in the centre of the hotel. The food was good. The breakfast had fresh juice with fruits from the garden. The ingredients were local and good quality. The staff was very kind and friendly to us. Lucia especially, one of the waitresses during dinner, was so very kind to us. We really liked her. Also they are dog friendly!

We booked 3 rooms for 6 of us, and they were all beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast served to our door was a real treat and delicious. There was a mix up with our payment due to our own fault, and the hotel was very patient and kind to us. Will definitely stay here again.
