I liked everything about my stay here. Comfortable room, great bathroom. Washer/Dryer in the cupboard which was great seeing as I had already been travelling for 10 days. Quiet. Warm. Great location. Would highly recommend.

Louise in reception was exceptional. She is a major asset to the company. The lady went out of her way to help me. I have mobility issues and drove from Ireland. I forgot my parking permit for disabled drivers. She went out of her way to help.

It’s a beautiful grand old hotel with every modern convenience catered for. The location was just excellent for me too as I was travelling by train from London to Leeds and then onward by train to Edinburgh the next day. Also, I loved the coffee shop which I spent a couple of hours in while waiting for my train’s departure.
