We were lucky to spend a New Year night at Skeiding. Dinner was excellent, cottage very private and comfy, staff exceptionally welcoming - we enjoyed it all.

I loved the place, and the view was breathtaking. The retreat is truly perfect for relaxation and spending a wonderful day away from the city. Everything is available in the villa except for food, so make sure to bring your own. I forgot to bring food, but Chris was amazing — he sent us a restaurant menu, and we ordered pizza, which he personally went to pick up for us. Chris also took us on a drive along the river, sharing stories about the place. At the end of the day, we sat together, chatting and sharing stories, while he played music for us around the fire.

Wonderful old farmhouse situated on a large farm nowhere near any other habitations and decorated with interesting antique furniture and items. 5 star dinner and breakfast thoughtfully served in beautiful antique dishes. Cloth napkins echoed the antique vibe. Anna was a most gracious and friendly host who went way out of her way to ensure we had a memorable stay.
