We were looking for a place to spend the night on our way...

We were looking for a place to spend the night on our way north and Troutville answered that bill. There were several dining options in the vicinity, Being in the mountains, I suppose there were some scenic places around but our schedule did not permit us the time to scout them out.

We had a dog with us and we were assigned a room on the side of the hotel closest to I-81. Road noise was a problem, but luckily, I carry a pack of wax and cotton earplugs with me. My husband and I both used them and the beds were SHOCKINGLY comfy and cozy. We had the best night's sleep of the whole weekend there.

Markeem at the front desk was so nice and honest. I left my phone lay when we checked in, and he kept it safe until he found me. Entire staff was friendly, kind, clean ,and proud of their hotel. Job well done, Comfort Inn & Suites

It was close off of I-81. Two hotels side by side so pay attention to what entrance you are entering. It was difficult to see at night in the pouring down rain.
