Very friendly and polite staff, great amenities, great complimentary activities (while we were there, there was a wine degustation event with a piano concert, a movie night on the rooftop terrace, a yoga class and many more) and overall an excellent location. The room we stayed in was well organized, very clean and yes, the Japanese toilet was a highlight as well :)

Service and staff were excellent. The rooms were outstanding. We had one king ocean view with sitting area, sofa bed, kitchenette and washer and dryer. Ocean view was excellent.

Excellent location and beautiful spacious property. It was a plus to have washer/ dryer as I did laundry every day. Breathtaking view of the ocean from the living room and balcony. 4th floor had good size workout facilities and pool/ jaccuzzi. Friendly staff and very accommodating. True Aloha spirit the minute you check in to this property. Highly recommend.

The staff was extremely kind and courteous, the hotel is 5 minutes walking distance from the mall and the shoreline where you can take a nice walk and enjoy the run rise or sunset! My friends and I would go for walks every morning and enjoy coffee from the local coffee shop called sunrise coffee which is also next to Aloha kitchen a great breakfast spot! We also enjoyed the pastries from a local bakery named Kulu Kulu all this within walking distance from hotel it’s a great spot to stay at!

The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The housekeeping staff was like a hive of bees. They kept our room in tip-top shape, even when I tried to give them a break and told them that they could skip us for a day. Also, they kept us plied with coffee, which was a delight for me. The restaurant, the Maui Brewing Company, was superb. There was an entrance directly from the hotel, and they supplied us with a discount card to sweeten the choice. The location is in the heart of Waikiki. It would be impossible not to love the positioning, as one is right in the heart of the city.

Beautiful beach, that was the best part.

Beautiful beach, that was the best part. The prices in Hawaii are ridiculous. Very high. The are grocery stores that you can buy your own food and cook if you have a kitchen. Nice people. My fav was the taco truck that had such good fresh healthy food. I would eat there everyday. He was on Kihapai st and oneawa st , late in the evening. Best recommendation. Its mostly safe, some homeless here and there not much in the residential areas. Few bars from high end, to crossroads to Kailua tavern that has the best karaoke bartender you have ever heard. He sings and makes your drinks. Food is ok, if you are a foodies it's hit and miss.. in the restaurants.. Super fun, you can get amazing surfing cheap lessons with Mike and Andy at 808 Surt School by Kamehameha Hwy opposite of the shrimp shack. Lot of great experiences, so much beautiful sun. Beautiful place. We'll be back.

Kailua is a quiet place to stay, away from the crowds in Honolulu. It is close to beaches and has easy access to grocery stores and restaurants in town. Access to activities in Honolulu are not far way via the Pali Highway.
