What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

This hotel represents the highest quality. Everything is new and well maintained. The villas are spacious and beautifully designed. Still, what makes it really special is the service and people that take care of you there. Thanks to their approach you can really enjoy the holiday knowing that they will remember not only your name but also your individual needs like for example diet. Here I would like to mention our individual assistant Beno who was the perfect organizer of our stay at this hotel. Thanks to him I feel we used every hour of our stay and tried everything we wanted. I recommend this place to everybody who wants to rest away from the crowds.

Everything was great. After arrival we got welcome drink and cold towel, design and room was well air-conditioned and surprisingly big. Breakfast was served in buffet style and had wast variety of great food available. It was the best breakfast in long time. Also staff was extremely nice and helpful. We could keep.our luggage and use hotels shower and free water whole day after our check out as we left at 10pm to the airport. For us was also location great just fed meters from spice market and in the middle of old town.
