We had a wonderful and regenerating stay at Marafiki. Structure is amazing, every bungalow has its own patio and all details are curated from interiors to the exteriors (common areas, pool, subbeds and restaurant). We were coming from Nungwui which is more chaotic and we really had relaxing 3nights, where we enjoyed meals at the restaurant and delicious included breakfast. I also experienced pilates class and massage. A special mention goes to the staff, very friendly and helpful. You guys made us feel at home! Very much recommended

I recently stayed in this Hotel with my partner, and I have to say, it perfectly embodies what a true boutique hotel should be. It’s small and intimate, which makes the atmosphere incredibly peaceful and personal. What impressed us most was the discreet yet highly attentive staff, always present when needed, but never intrusive. We genuinely felt spoiled from the very first moment, with every detail taken care of effortlessly. There was no chaos, no confusion, just a calm, relaxing environment where we could truly unwind. The service was flawless, the attention to detail exceptional, and the overall experience nothing short of perfect. Thanks Mr Sorev and Carol. The resort was fantastic! Not only the room was clean, spacious and cozy, but also all the facilities were top, including the chill area and the restaurant where we had dinner every evening. Delicious food, a bit pricey but at least you get the guarantee of not getting sick. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly 🙏 I really enjoyed interactions with the staff who apart from being funny and teaching us Swahili, did arrange an amazing tour after another company cancelled on us. Thanks to them we could swim with dolphins and snorkel and it was the best experience! Besides, the beach is at a walking distance from the hotel and it’s spectacular. Good value for the price we paid and the whole design of the resort was beautiful ✨

From what I've seen this is one of the best hotels on the island. The beach is with white sand, and the guards are keeping away the "merchants". The food was very good, and the whole hotel complex is absolutely not crowded.

Just an amazing stay. Tina, the host, is incredibly attentive and helpful with everything, so is the staff (special thanks to Edina). Room was massive, clean, with all amenities and nice views to the pool and beach; restaurant opens till late and offers a fair variety of options in the menu. Feels like a resort with everything in it, but the opposite of crowded, which is great. Also, the area is quiet and well located in the island. We will definitely recommend it to any friend that visits Zanzibar.

I had an amazing 3-night stay at this hotel in Zanzibar. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was just perfect. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food every time. A special thank you to Ivana, the manager, who does an outstanding job to make sure everything runs so well. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar

Our stay at Z-Lodge hotel was really great. The food and cocktails were delicious and satisfying, with each meal leaving us impressed. The ocean's colors during high tide were a sight to behold, adding to the overall experience. Our room was interesting, featuring old Zanzibarian antique furniture that gave it a unique feel. It was a fantastic choice for a relaxing retreat for my husband and me.

Very beautiful hotel in a calm and less touristic area of Zanzibar! We had the top floor room with sea view for our honeymoon and we were amazed! The staff is also very helpful and caring, they even came to our room in the evenings to spay for mosquitos and fix the net of the bed!
