We loved Absolutely EVERYTHING. Treat yourself and stay in this beautifully renovated castle. The workmanship and attention to detail is flawless. There's also a beautiful spa downstairs with an indoor swimming pool. We were in Room 105, beautiful views across the countryside. All the staff were wonderful and there were vegetarian options on their menu. You could possibly get there by public transport, with a few changes, however we used a private driver from Bratislava.

Surrounding by greenery and offering a free usage of an indoor pool and spa area, Hotel Grand Vígľaš, set in a fully restored 13th century castle, is located a 15-minute drive from Zvolen.

The room was clean, the kitchen had everything wee needed, we had coffee and tee, the shower was big, water pressure was good. The self checkin and check out was very confortable. We only stayed one night while being on the road.
